I'm participating in the Winter Warm up blog hop.

Below you will get a little warmup teaser as well as two separate giveaways- I've kept it as short and simple as possible as I know we all are busy and have lots to see today.

Let me warm you up with a hot little tease...

Hawthorn stood before her. Dark hooded eyes, broad shoulders filling up the space, and every bit the male she had seen a few hours ago. A jar of honey in his hand.

"What are could––"

"I find you?" His voice rolled out calm and deep, slipping over her and moistening her panties.

"Yes. Find me." She swallowed. She looked at the jar of honey and back to him. His gaze bore into hers, and she averted her eyes opening the door. "Come in."

He walked over the threshold, his boots thumping softly on the floor. "I have a knack for finding the things I'm after." He grinned.

Cocky bastard. She shut the door and crossed her arms. "And what are you doing here?" Inside, butterflies tossed in her stomach. She wanted him to say he'd come for her but, at the same time, was terrified at the thought of hearing him say it. Her mind jumped from one side to the other. Her hands fisted shirt where he couldn't see.

"I told you I'd find you." He took one long stride toward her. "We left things a little..." He took another step, and she backed up until she hit the wall. "Steamy." His voice dropped so low she barely heard the last word. Her heart hammered at her ribcage.

"What...ah." She cleared her throat. "What do you want?"

Thorn put his free hand on the wall beside her, and she melted into him. How had he gotten so elfing good at teasing her?

"I want you of course," he said, his lips barely above hers.

A Taste of Thursday: Demon WIP continued

Taken from my current WIP- Impure bargains- scene continued from last week- you can scroll down if you want to read last weeks...

Her anger slipped and it took her a moment to regain it, reminding herself he was doing this on purpose to rattle her. Haven pulled her head back out of his grasp and crossed her arms hoping the defensive stance kept him at bay. Not that her body really want him to take it seriously and it reminded her as she took a solid step back and found her panties wet, again. Haven cleared her throat. "I'm looking for more information on my brother. Is he well?"

"As well as can be expected I suppose."

"You suppose?" Yes the anger came back full force. "You either know or you don't is my brother ok?" She glared at him.

"Yes, pet, he's fine."

"And when will he be set free?"

"I will give the same answer as before, Baal has to look him over first."

"I'm to assume his contract is with Baal, correct? Or did you take him on some other deal?"

"It is with Baal. Is this what you took me away from my pleasure for? To ask me irritating questions about your brother?"

Did he expect her to feel guilty? She didn't. "Serves you right. You take people out of all sorts of experiences. Probably kept many people from their carnal pleasures." She was proud of the snide remark and hoped it hit home.

Desiderus arched his brow. "Perhaps my carnal knowledge should be bestowed upon you pet." He made a show of sniffing the air. "I can smell and feel your desire. Your mind bucks what your body wants." His voice had taken that low octave that reached inside her and pulled out a heat she tried to suppress.

Haven backed up another step and abruptly found the wall. Damnit how did she manage to back herself there. She should have paid a lot closer attention to where she summoned the demon. Kicking herself on the inside she replied, "Perhaps your carnal knowledge will find my foot helping it to an alternative."

He laughed. "Feisty tonight aren't we?"

Haven shook it off. She needed information. Think loopholes. "I shouldn't ask this, I really shouldn't because knowing is going to kill me I just have to find out. What did my brother make a deal for? What does he have to do for Baal?" She put a slight plead to her voice, knowing full well it wouldn't sway the demon to tell her if he didn't want to, but it didn't hurt to try.

"I'll answer your question, but you have to give me something in return... for each sentence I reply." Desiderus grinned and took a step in her direction.

A Taste of Thursday: NaNo snippet # 2

I found a title for my NaNo demon story: Impure bargains. What do you think?

Anyway- last we left the characters, my demon had asked why he was summoned from his threesome...if you want to read that fun little snippet please CLICK HERE

Here's the next part of the same scene...

She licked her lips, resigning to what she knew would be her second mistake today and turned around. She careful maneuvered her body so she didn't touch his erect penis and tried not to look down. His chest was what she focused on unable to look up and meet his gaze. Despite her best efforts she had a sudden urge to taste him. All she had to do was slip out her tongue and...No! She wouldn't go there. Why did a demon look so tempting? Internally she berated herself. Of course he would, he was sin fucking walking.

The demon put his strong hand under her chin, carefully lifting it. She averted her eyes still not ready to face him. When had she turned into such a prude? She was no virgin, no little woman. She was a strong fierce person, a snare. So why was it so difficult to be that strong person around him? It had to boil down her lack of a sex life.

"Look at me, Haven."

Grinding her teeth, she looked up. That was her third mistake of the day. The dark desire she saw in his eyes only heated her inside. Demons knew things about their summoners and he was playing it up. He knew things she probably didn't even admit to herself. She hated him knowing anything personal at all about her, let alone how to turn her on. She grabbed on to that anger, squeezed it, pulling it into her core snuffing out the desire to touch the creature. She needed to keep reminding herself he was a creature, not a human. Ok well he said he was once human, which of course made sense, but he wasn't now so it didn't count. He was demon and not just any demon. He was powerful enough that Baal sent him in place of himself. Which only lead Haven to believe Desiderus would be Baal's right hand, acting on his behalf in all things outside of hell. And it would be just her luck to get the one demon she might not be able to outsmart.

"I will ask you one more time." He bent over where his lips were just above hers, their eyes locked in what Haven was sure would never end. "Why have you summoned?" His question brushed heatedly across her mouth and she swallowed a sigh that would have melted her into him, begging for the promised kiss he tempted her with.

Teasing Me Tuesday: Top 7 Teasers

7) Huddled in the corner of her tiny stone cell, Molly Goldfoot stared into the darkness. Were it not for the small crack between the rocks, she would have no idea if it was night or day. She wrapped her arms around her knees, pulling them tight to her chest. A shiver rippled through her body. She'd lost track of how long she'd been held captive. In the beginning, someone had brought food and water each day, but that had stopped.

6) "No. Oh, no, no, no. No." Hermes rocketed away and hovered out of her immediate reach. "We are so not going there again. Not this time. Not this day. Not happening." Was she for real? After all she'd done, she wanted sex from him?

Unsure if his ego or her influence on his personal hubris affected him, a warm smugness took hold. He'd always been cocky, but she could bring it out to the maximum.

"And why not? I'm a beautiful woman, you desire me, and you have an open schedule. Take off your pants and pleasure me."

5) "Listen, honey," she whispered. "I'm sure as hell enjoying this, and if I had the time to spare I'd be all over you in ways you can't even conceive."

"Mm-hm," Noelle replied. Her hips rolled in languid, mesmerizing rhythm, and Rasche let out a little growl as she returned the motion in kind.

"Oh, sweetness, I'd fuck you until you couldn't stand," she said. "But not now. You're going to tell me if you've seen my girl, and where she is, and then we'll see about making it up to you. Sound good?"

4) "This one's the last of her line. There are no others, Deke." He held up a file and tossed it to Decan.

Catching it, he thumbed through the small stack of papers and moved back to his recliner. "Selena Michelle Grey, born October 31st, 1991. Hair, blonde. Eyes, blue. Only child to Thomas and Melissa Grey." Decan closed the folder and leaned back in his chair. The last Grey. It meant his life's purpose had almost been completed. What would he do when the time came when there were no more "missions?" There had been a time when it had seemed impossible. He had spent his exceedingly long life fulfilling his mother's wishes. Running a hand through his hair, he gave it a tug before peering back up at his maker.

"After this one, I'll be free?"

3) He gave a slow, devilish grin, staring at her wickedly. "I'll have you again, Nim. We both know it." Christos, she turned him on so much, even in anger.

"You're threatening the wrong person, Gawain. My blood is the only thing I owe you."

"We'll see, my Lady Disdain. And it wasn't a threat, love. It's pure promise." He swooped low, capturing her mouth once more with his for a quick, hard kiss then was gone in a rush of air.

2) Chez nodded. "I've come to put my bid in."

"Did my little teacup intrigue you?" A smile broke across his face. "I knew she would."

1) He was a good-looking guy, no doubt about it. A Sylph, which meant he was more element held together by will than a flesh and blood human. Light blue hair was brushed away from an angular face and piercing eyes that matched his hair. Elementals weren't tied to any particular shape but the one he'd chosen had an interesting effect on something a lot lower than my heart. He'd managed to charm his way right into my bed and became my partner for my current plan.

It had bad idea written all over it.
