Torn- 100 word flash

Torn

Even though he'd torn her wings asunder, causing red to stain her bare back, I still loved her. I held Affin in my thick hands watching her small form shudder with sobs I couldn't bear to hear, tears I had no way to stop, and pain I couldn't make go away.

Once she'd been a fae. A precious gem in nature's treasure. The goblin ruined that. There's no possibility to control the rage simmering just beneath the surface.

When I can put her down, I'll find the one responsible and rip out his heart. What else are dragons good for?

  7. Dragon revenge! I'm so used to dragons being the bad guy, this was a nice relief. That goblin doesn't stand a chance. :)
