Sexy Saturday #2

You can spend this Saturday with Draven from Book 1 Ribbon of Darkness coming this December for heating up Christmas:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Candy canes have no business here." He ripped the brown leaf dress from her body causing a gasp to escape her lips.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What do you all think candy canes or no?

FF #1 One Book the rest of my life.

Q: If you could only have ONE – one book – for the rest of your life. Don’t cheat…what would it be?

One single book~ That's hard for me. Ultimately I think I'd pick the biggest book I could find because if the world threatens to end and there's nothing left to do but read with my spare time- well I want to read something thick that will go on for a while. On my shelf right now I'd pick Jane Austen's complete works- it's all in one book so it totally counts. *Winks*

2) Zeke- a fae from Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson Novels

1) Jenks (a male pixie) from Kim Harrison's Hollows series.

Wicked Satyr Nights

I love the title and cover of this one- Here's my review.

Some creatures want to be found.

I enjoyed this read by Ms. Lewis. I was fascinated by her Satrys and the mythology involved. It's clear she put a great deal of thought into how the mythos would work for her story and I loved how she included Nymphs in the actual plot.

The curse was an interesting twist as it was placed on gods and men, backfiring, and creating a neat element with in the story.

The sexual scenes between the two main characters, Pan and Kat, were pretty wicked all right. One of my favorite parts was toward the end as they became playful:
*********************
"I really love you."
Her smile turned into a wide grin. "And I love you."
"Get naked." His voice became deeper huskier.
How could one ever say no to that? "Make me." She sprinted toward the stairs...

*****************

I give this only three stars because I feel it ended to abruptly for my personal taste and I would have liked to see it drawn out a touch more, even though I realize it's meant to leave the reader hanging for the series.

WWW/ Sunday snippet # 2

As promised from last Sunday- meet the charming Draven North, spy extraordinaire.

(You can see last weeks HERE and meet Ribbon Winters if you haven't had the chance)

Snippet is from Ribbon of Darkness Book 1 of The Trouble with Elves series coming this December.

Draven walked out of the bookstore into the Florida heat, something he was sure he'd never get used to. He preferred the chill of the North Pole, the icicles glistening, the snow falling in slow motion around Mr. Claus's shop. He put his hand up to keep the sun from his eyes and headed to his hotel. He'd found what he'd been looking for, he just hadn't expected it to be a her. His cock twitched in his jeans. Damn thing had more of a mind of its own than the stubborn reindeer. He clenched his jaw and thought of anything besides the perfect tip of her ear, the slender milky white neck, or Santa forbid, those deep chestnut eyes glaring at him. She had fire, and for some forsaken reason he wanted to see it again.

My Sexy Saturday #1

It's my first post with the My Sexy Saturday blog hop.

I recently signed a contract with Breathless press for my erotic Christmas story- Ribbon of Darkness- Book 1 in  The trouble with Elves series.

For your reading pleasure I give you Ribbon and Draven in a smouldering scene- short and to the point-

Draven sauntered into the room, closing the distance between them. Her breath hitched and her heart jumped. She took a few steps back, and he took a few steps forward. Perhaps her mind wasn't the only one falling into gutters.
"Are you afraid of me, Donella?" His voice had lowered to a sexy masculine ripple cascading over her.
"Not even a little. On the contrary. I'd really like you to push me up against the wall and kiss me like you mean it." She steeled her sight on him. Ready for him to take her up on her offer. Okay, actually hoping he'd take her up on it.
Draven put a warm hand in the middle of her chest and walked her slowly back until she abruptly found the wall.

Larissa Ione- Free read

I started reading Larissa Ione's Deminca series recently and let me just say, not only are they funny- but wow the sparks fly between her characters and the scenes are worth devouring.

She has a short piece on kindle for a free read that goes with her Demonica series called Eternity Embraced.
I truly can't wait to be submersed back into her world.

Snippet Sunday #1

Let me introduce you to Ms. Ribbon Winters: She's a feisty young woman, likes moonlit dinners, and her men a little on the jagged side.

Snippet is from my book "Ribbon of Darkness"- The Trouble with Elves series. (Coming out in December)

After the ice melted, the burn subsided. Ribbon sulked her way into the bathroom, flipped on the light, and checked her alarm clock. She kept it in the bathroom in order to make herself get out of bed and have to walk somewhere in order to turn it off. Not that she couldn't be late  for work, since she worked in the family business, Ribbon just didn't prefer to slack in any area of her life. And lazy didn't mean the same thing, lazy meant curling up with a good book, which was definitely not slacking. She picked up the alarm, five in the morning, same as the last time. She blew a long strand of black hair from her face, glanced up, and dropped the clock.

Pointed, pointy, points...on her ears!

Next week meet Draven North...
